iConcertCal

Totally rad: This nifty lil iTunes visualizer plugin scans your music library and generates a calendar of upcoming local concerts for the artists you listen to.

(props to Will for discovering this lil gem.... and for NOTHING ELSE!!!)

Ninja Tuesday III: Revenge of Monday

This film was created for the 2006 Filmerica Challenge, a 72 hour filmmaking competition.

On Aug 18th we were given a genre, prop, character, and line of dialog. They were action/adventure, a hammer, Morgan Becker (unemployed), and "Things are not always what they seem."

...So, of course, we made a ninja movie.

Go head to head with Rockstar

Take on the Table Tennis game developers.

Grab your paddles and polish your balls, because on the 15th of August, Rockstar developers Brian Alcazar and William Rompf will be waiting on Xbox Live. This is your chance to take on the creators of Table Tennis and see if you can beat them at their own game. Log in between 18.30 and 20.00 GMT and prepare to spin them into shape.

Whilst they're reeling from one of your killer serves, why not drop in a few questions? You could find out what made them choose Table Tennis over other racket-based games.

It's an exhilarating game with amazing attention to detail. And the stunning, sweating characters could fool you into thinking you're actually playing the men themselves.

This is your chance to show the big boys how it's done.

When: 15 August, 18.30 – 20.00 GMT

Who: Rockstar developers - Brian Alcazar and William Rompf

How: Add developer X and developerX2 to your friends list.

Scottish gang warfare... with swords

(click for story)

Personally, I think it would be better if all gang members carried swords instead of guns. It would make the brawls so much more interesting and skill-based.
